BD+C’s 2016 AEC Movers+Shapers report

Movers and Shapers are the people, institutions, and movements that are influencing design and construction in the U.S. and around the world. The inaugural program honors seven entities that made a singular, positive impact on the nation’s built environment.

Winners range from billionaire owner and chairman Dan Gilbert to Bruce Katz, the vice president at the Brookings Institution think tank, to artist Theaster Gates. An entire generation, the Millennials, were recognized for its impact in the future of the AEC industry, including hotel and office design.
